So I've been trying to mod a hair mesh so that I can have Calpernia's hair in-game. I managed to add enough vertices to the Calpernia mesh so that it has the same number as the mesh I've been using. I posted something about this a while back, and was told that even if I got the vertices and normals to match with the base mesh, I couldn't import it. I had to manually make the two hair meshes match.

I thought "there has to be a way to do this faster." Since the two hairs have the same number of vertices already, there's got to be a way to "copy-and-paste" the vertex locations from one to the other. I've been hunting around the internet to no avail, so I thought I'd ask if anyone familiar with 3DS Max knows how to do this. I'm going to see if I can get an answer on the 3DS Max forums, too, but I thought since you guys have better knowledge of the Mod Maker (and 3DS Max, tbh) than I do, I'd ask here, too.

Unfortunately there is no quick shortcut for this, you have to do it manually, just because two meshes have the same amount of verts doesn't mean it can be morphed, because they are 2 completely different objects. If you introduce a new object into the mod maker that did not belong there in the 1st place the mod maker wont accept it, thats because of the way the mod maker is coded. For now there is not much we can do about it, except to wait for the coder to make the modmaker with new features that will allow us to import custom meshes
