I was messing around with the mod tools, trying to carry out what I was hoping would be a fairly simple tweak; changing the utility slot bonuses granted by Silverite from Str/Con to something like Willpower/Con, but one that would give Silverite's uniquely class unrestricted nature a bit more of a use.

So in doing this, I've managed to isolate the parts of the file that determine what bonuses Silverite does in different slots, yet if I change this to match the data that you see in other crafting materials (like some of the cloth) the data seen inside the Mod Tool doesn't match. If I just change the Strength utility slot bonus to match the Willpower bonus, the Mod Tool shows this as being a Constitution bonus instead. Likewise, if I adjust the stat bonuses on cloth crafting materials to match what I see in the metal files, it comes out as some other random bonuses. To me, that suggests that there is some tag somewhere in the files that is determining what bonuses the materials can have and picking from a limited list

I've gone through the files looking for anything that might be relevant to this, and none of them seem to have any effect. Is there something obvious that I'm missing?
