I'm having trouble with the descent, yeah. Currently, no matter what I do, it crashes at a certain point in game. Trying to figure out how to completely remove ALL mods without deleting the actual mod folder, because for whatever reason, if I delete the folder, the game tells me that I'm not using the right patch. Sigh.

You can go ahead and delete that mod folder from your game installation directory. It will be called something like "ModMerge" or something. You will probably recognize it immediately. After you do that, find the folder labeled "Patch" and open it. Inside, you will see two files, one a folder and the other a text file, package.mft. Open package.mft with any text editor (I used Notepad) and change "Version 10" to "Version 11". Save and close.

Fire up your game and you will be able to play Descent without mods.

I've purchased Descent but will wait to play it for a bit, I think. I've gotten used to my mods. Especially the no mustache mod for Dorian. I really am not a fan of his porn 'stache though I know many people adore it.

For some reason, I can't click on the button to merge. Tried many different things but nothing is working. Does anyone have a solution or the same problem?

Confirm about Descent + patch9 + mods with MM 0.57.

Game silently crashed on interaction with corpses in room with ogre.
Event if:
- patch rescaned
- no mods selected but "Original Patch"
