It doesn't look like many people post here anymore. And it seems like all download links are down :^( I just recently wanted to start playing again but then I realized that the modmanager wasn't working!

TLDR; is anyone here LOL

I check these forums, and the Nexus ones, every day. But in general they are pretty dead, yes. DAI is almost two years old, so that shouldn't come as a surprise. People are still making mods, but we're currently at the limit of what the tools can do. New tools are being worked on.

For the Mod Manager, be sure to use the DAITools Suite Loader; that will fix you up with the latest of both the Mod Manager and Mod Maker. You can direct download the Manager from the latest version announcement forum thread. The same goes for the Mod Maker.

Just FYI, if you're going to be making mods, use v19 for all ebx edits, and v16/17 for image and mesh edits.

Kinda yeah :/
Still working on the tools but it's slow because of it. Hard to remain focused when the interest seems to have died too :/
I hope once I release the tools it'll spark a little bit.

It's a bit hard to stay interested when no new updates or new features are really out.... The main thing that ppl want/wanted ever since the game came out is custom mesh imports... we had many coders that said they're gonna do it... but it seems when ppl come across that bridge they tend to abandon the tool........

No. Not abandonned.

If you've looked at my post, you'll see I'm working on a lot of stuff.
But yeah, kinda hard to keep my interest on the project when on one hand most people seem uninterested in the game altogether and on the other hand people keep pushing.

I know you've worked on the tools before, its just i haven't seen you post new updates here in some time, and i thought it got abandoned again, tbh i didn't know you were still working on it.

Personally I still play the game, also make some mods for it from time to time... but as Nightscrawl said... its been 2 years since the game came out... so, some ppl have moved on to other games, but there are still ppl out there that are interested including myself.

I check these forums every once in awhile but there never seems to be anything new

:D Allowing custom meshes would definately create some sparks. DAI has pretty good replayability.
Have you decided on a file container format ?
Probably a few of us quiet lurkers around. Maybe a bit of the chicken & the egg thing in terms of interest.

Also, Any indications if changing bones and animations may be doable?
Finally, for all the work you do, and have done >>> THANK YOU THANK YOU !

I'm on here and on Nexus pretty frequently. On tumblr every day. But like Nightscrawl said DAI will be 2 years old pretty soon, and there's only so much you can mod currently. I'm more than ready to get back into things whenever the tool is ready though. But until then I think I and everyone else is just kinda chill.

Not really forgot, but remember a lot of us have lives outside that to take care of. I know I will be moving houses soon and one of the lesser worries on my mind is modding and DAI. Its a hobby for me, so its not something I put effort into everyday.
