WEll in that situation its best way.

I modding gme since 2000 when i try to mod old windows games like championship manager 99 and etc :) and that wasy "change - see what happened" worked good.

Quick test of replacing an EBX proved successful, changes Cullens name pointer to Morrigans:

More EBX tests. Changes to Nugs:

- Now called dragons
- Now have boss health bars
- Are all lvl 10
- Have 40980 health
- Move a lot faster

So, speaking theoretically, once all manner of content types can successfully injected into the game and modding by the broader community becomes feasible, how do you see multiple mods from different authors co-existing? If modifying the patch directory is the only option to get content into the game, perhaps some sort of client-side installer/mod manager that can take mods that are in a standardised format and repackage the patch directory as needed?

Ya, we need a mod manager. Voider made one for MassEffect3 tools so he will have an easy time porting it to our DAI tools

Just thought I would share this, I have been working with another user on getting talktables to be exportable back in game. This user has written the code to reconvert the talktables after modifications, and here it is ingame.

Next test will be to add new strings, then change the string ID of an object to point to the new string
